	The September program explored some factors which have allowed the
	Chico State Men’s Basketball Program to have such unprecedented years 
	of success since at least 2014 when they won their first Western Regional
	Tournament and advanced to the Elite 8 in Division II basketball.
	Since 2013, only five teams out of over 300 Division II schools have been
	able to make it to the Elite 8 three or more times. Chico State is one of
	them. During those recent years no other team in their Conference—the
	CCAA—has advanced to the Elite 8. How has Chico State been able to pull 
	off such an amazing feat? The initial plan was to have Greg Clink, the
	current Head Coach, speak but because of a time conflict it was decided
	to have the current Assistant Coach Cevin Meador provide some insight into
	this question. This is perhaps even better because the coaching aspect
	will not be filtered through Coach Clink’s modesty. Cevin is in his second
	year at Chico and has had coaching experience at several schools including
	three seasons as an Assistant Coach in our conference at Cal State Monterey
	Bay.
