Our speaker for May was scheduled to be Shirley Hall who had a previous engagement.
Instead we had her cousin Jack Hall give a presentation about the Concrete Industry
Management program at California State University, Chico.
CIM is a Bachelor of Science degree that combines hands-on experience with
a business administration minor to give students a comprehensive
understanding of the concrete industry. This includes materials, production,
construction methods, and business management. There are only 5 universities
in the nation that have a CIM degree, and Chico State is one of them. The
average starting salary for our students is around $80,000 and the job
placement rate is at 100%.
