Our July Luncheon Speaker was Jolene Francis who is a member
of the Enloe Hospital Foundation. Jolene spoke about the future
of Cancer care in Northern California. Since 1979, Jolene Francis
has enjoyed a professional career in both for-profit and nonprofit
industries in Chico. In her current role, as Vice President of
Philanthropy & Communications she provides oversight for all
outward-facing activities at Enloe Medical Center. This includes
the Enloe Foundation, Marketing & Communications, Community
Outreach & Business Development and Volunteer Services. Jolene
earned the international CFRE certification (Certified Fund Raising
Executive) in 2016 and was named a Fellow of the Association for
Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) in 2020. She serves as faculty for
the AHP Madison Institute at the University of Wisconsin School of
Business and is an AHP Peer Mentor. During her career, she has
been honored with several awards and recognitions, including
the Soroptimist International Women Helping Women Award, the
Chico Chamber Athena Award for women’s business excellence, and
the Young Professionals Organization Mentor of the Year award.
